WORLD’S FASTEST 1-MILE FORD MUSTANG GT500- 247.9 AT THE TEXAS MILE

There is nothing M2K Motorsports can’t do! October 2016 they set out to break the World Record for the Ford Mustang. The Blue Ford GT500 owner, Bill Wagner of Airtech of Houston with M2K Motorsports and driver, Patrick O’Gorman set the Top Speed of the Weekend and New 1-Mile Mustang World Record at 247.9 MPH with a 1/2 Mile speed of 187.9 MPH. Once again a Ford brings its A-game to The Texas Mile…

“We want to say thank you to the Texas mile and all its participants that have made all of this worth it. The Mustang competition that has been going on for the past few years between Van Collier, Kevin Johnson, Kenny Polk, just to name a few…the list is long…and the shops that have all participated in building cars to set these records like Kinetik, M2K Motorsporst, Strictly Performance, KP Racing, Lund Racing and all their support staff. We just want to thank everybody because if it wasn’t for them, we wouldn’t have had the motivation to do this.” -Bill Wagner, AirTech of Houston

  2. Wonder what if the blower promodied cars will do on these types of races. They easily hit 250 on a quarter mile… how would they perform on a 1 mile track? Would they blow up or gets tossed in the air because of too much power? Would be really interesting though.
