  1. For the money, I'd rather have a TRD Off Road than the pro. For the $10k you saved you can put that into suspension, wheels, and tires and have a way better offroad rig than the TRD Pro. As for the BFG K02s, they're the most overrated tire on the market. Terra Grapplers ride better, wear better, and don't dry rot after 3 years! As for an all around tire so far my favorite has been my Cooper Discovery AT3's.

  2. why go for the TRD PRO? when the TRD offroad package gives you all the same mechanical bits.. other than the exhaust, and the black rims, and leather interior that I dont want anyways..

  3. I rather buy a plain 4 x 4 taco and add on front and rear lockers Beefier upper control arms Fox, I Con or Kings shocks with reservoir and full skid plates. Also with front air lockers you have a air compressor so you can Air down and up on the trail and will probably have money left over for a full front bumper with winch. ?

  4. You don't know what extreme is; try Cliff Hanger Moab UT. Crawl control sucks and will get you stuck. We build SR5 models that will eat that overpriced piece of crap any day of the week.

  5. When Nathan said he wished you could lock the front wheels wouldn't it have helped to use the multi terrain select so when the left wheel lost traction power would have gone to the right wheel?

  6. They had to leave the course to make it up the trail. The rule is stock trucks from the manufacturer. You cant say it's not the trucks fault then go add on front lockers and tires. The Taco failed the cliffhanger

  7. Am I the only one that thinks crawl control is the answer to a question that nobody asked? I've been off-roading in the woods many times and I've never once thought to myself "if only I didn't have to apply slight pressure to the gas pedal this would be so much easier!!!"

Honestly seems like it would take some of the fun out of it.

  8. My foot is the crawl control… ain’t no crawl control traction rubbish on my bronco. Got enough things to worry about breaking off-road, don’t want a bunch of electric computer stuff to break too.
