HOW TO BUILD CUSTOM TRUCK GRILL UNDER $60 D.I.Y



Welcome back to another Episode of Garage Edition! Now this has been a on going project. So far we’ve spent $25 the budget is $60. This a easy DIY job. This is actually first time i’ve welded and used metal. So im not a pro. You can look at it and see that. But I take pride in doing builds myself. So Roll that Film!

  1. Thanks man I always wanted to do a custom grill for my bronco but couldn't figure out how to make the outside frame I kinda so what your going for in a grill cant wait to see it done

  2. hey i know this is an old video and i don't know how much more welding experience you've gotten since, but a couple tips from someone who has welded professionally. Get closer to the metal and hold the welding gun with one hand close to the tip, while pulling the trigger with the other. GO SLOW!!!! not too slow to the point of where your burning through the metal but slow enough to where your getting a good bead. Last tip is to keep the tip of the welding gun no more than 1/2"-3/4" away from the material (if your using a flux core welder which it looks like you were in this video). Hope i was able to help!

  3. Great Job, any thoughts on doing a build with a custom grill AND custom Low Profile Lighting? Do a quick tutorial on Curve Lighting with LED and Halo. Keep up the great work!
